Since it was established in 1994, the International Newspaper Color Quality Club (INCQC) has gained a high profile international reputation and is the quality benchmark for the international newspaper printing industry.

Participation in the competition for membership in the Color Quality Club is in principle open to all newspapers, independent of the production processes or types of paper that are used. Four different categories have been defined for the competition:

1. Coldset-offset printing on newsprint

2. Heatset-offset printing or UV-cured offset printing on newsprint

3. Heatset-offset printing or UV-cured offset printing on SC or LWC paper

4. Extra category for newspaper printing on tinted paper or for printing processes outside offset (e.g. flexo or ink-jet)

The Tutorial makes you familiar with all the rules and communicates the contents of the newspaper standard that is binding worldwide. You get a comprehensive insight into qualitz management methods and measuring techniques.

Target group: Personnel working in prepress, production and printing plant managers as well as all persons responsible for printing quality.
